Troops getting ready to go to Florida for Irma

Today, I went to the “Glory Days” restaurant in Lorton, VA, to have dinner with my family and saw many troop transport trucks in the parking lot. I was curious to know what they were doing out there in a small shopping center parking lot. So I asked my dad if I could take a photo with one of the soldiers because they look cool, so my dad stopped the car and went over to chat with them. The gentleman was very nice and told me that I could take a photo with him. He also told me they were leaving for Florida to help civilians prepare for Hurricane Irma, a category IV/V hurricane heading for Florida. Before I left, I thanked them for their service and wished them good luck.
